During this week's search I couldn't access the Usenet when I typed in the location to the Yahoo homepage. I will remember to make a link from my homepage or topical index to the Yahoo homepage for further use. Anyway, whenever I typed in the location I would get an "NNTP" error and not allow me to access it. Therefore, I tried a different approach to it.
I tried an Internet search by typing in the words "traffic" and "psychology" as a query. The result took me to a place called DejaNews and contained hundreds of upcoming events on RUNNING and MARATHONS? I didn't understand why a query on "traffic" and "psychology" would give me a bunch of stuff on marathons. However after scanning down the list of events, I realized that within each of the events listed contained either the word "traffic" or "psychology."
This search threw me off because I didn't expect the search to go about it in that way. For instance one of the headings on this said "Iowa drives out..." I figured it had something to do with driving. However, when I clicked on it to see it in its entirety the full title read "Iowa drives out GAYS!!" I didn't think that it would help me much as far as understanding Traffic Psychology.
