    1. Necessary for drivers of all ages and experiences
    2. Driver improvement suggestions include

i.                     Reminders to use signals, to stop at the white line at stop signs, and to obey other traffic laws commonly ignored

ii.                   Radio talk shows to explore driving topics

iii.                  Learning to create the positive out of the negative

iv.                 Learning to plan ahead, including intended route

  1. An insight into Traffic Psychology
    1. The need for traffic counseling services for the public
    2. Speeding to be treated like an addiction

i.                     fine tune sensory and motor reactions

ii.                   reevaluate reasons for speeding

iii.                  focus inward on attitudes, responsibility, ethics and morality

  1. Psychological forces and Emotions while Driving
    1. Overcoming fallacies pertaining to driving and car make-up

i.                     breaks are going to wear out

    1.  One study looks at external cues

i.                     researchers studies hostility of drivers by watching tendencies in speed reduction and instances of rude gestures directed towards pedestrians

ii.                   Instances of aggression of both males and female drivers was higher against male pedestrians

    1. Another study looks at internal thought processes

i.                     drivers recorded thoughts, perceptions, and reactions while driving onto a tape

ii.                   study shows that the daily commute involves many instances that cause aggression and aggressive thoughts
