A. Rules govern society
a. Formal Vs Informal
b. Personal Vs Impersonal
B. Rules govern the road
a. Speed limits, stop lights, parking violations, etc
C. Errors occur when these rules are neglected and the two converge

II. Driving and socializing are two distinct activities
A. Keep attention on driving
a. Avoid risks of driving errors ie. Crashes
B. Keep attention on socializing
a. Avoid flakey attention

III. Younger drivers = At risk drivers
A. Most common road ragers
a. 18-25 yrs
b. Focus is on socializing in vehicle
1. Still live at home?
c. Focus is on impressing peers
1. Neglecting traffic laws, involving oneself in; road ragish behaviors
B. Solutions?
