I. What is road rage?
a. intense anger and aggression behind the wheel
1. Words, gestures, assault or battery, thoughts of violent intentions
b. hostile, illegal driving
1. racing
2. speeding
3. angry driving
4. disregarding others/laws/traffic
II. Who drives aggressively?
a. Aggressive, selfish, dangerous, imposing individuals
1. Men claim to be victim to aggressive driving more often
2. Men tend to drive more aggressive than women

2. Younger drivers take more risks and drive more aggressively
aa. Self centeredness and thinking everyone else is at fault for traffic conditions
III. Why do people drive aggressively?
a. Driving is a learned behavior
1. Children learn to drive by watching their parents and their behavior behind the wheel
b. Aggressive drivers are thinking negatively
1. Internal cognition's determines external actions: Negative thoughts promote negative actions and reactions
