II. What do they do?
A. Require truck operators to drive faster and log more hours
a. do not concern themselves with safety, regulations and reliability
B. Make profit
C. Support bending hours of service
a. drivers become fatigued
i. less safe driving
ii. illicit drug use
D. Support over weight regulations
a. truckers will take responsibility is caught
b. better profit for more weight
III. Is there ramifications for illegal trucking practices by dispatchers?
A. NO!
B. Possible suspension, dismissal, loss of pay, loss of bonus

C. Often their are rewards for fulfilling illegal trucking practices
a. encourage/ignoring cheated log books
b. truckers drive longer than legally allowed
i. back filing (keeping two books) or having butterfly logs (throw away)
