I. What Are Some Of The Discriminations
a. In the male dominated work force that is truck driving, women face much discrimination. This is because men feel like their gender is being imposed upon. In reaction to this threat they act out in typical patterns of discrimination and ostracizing.
b. By up keeping these traditional norms of discrimination truckers are violating the laws of the three fold self. That is they are not just oppressing women, but putting rage into their life by not controlling their affective organ, which will have an effect on their cognitive and lastly their sensory motor which we will be able to witness.
c. I chose this project because I think that we all have women in our lives, and I believe until we put behind the old stereotypes we will never progress. I also believe that society would get to this point faster if they simply looked at the three fold self model instead of outdated social norms.
II. Driving Aggressively and Women
a. As drivers, these women said that they were most stressed by aggressive drivers on the road. This is a violation of human rights, for no one should have the right to cause you danger or harm while you are driving. This also goes for passengers.
b. Many drivers out there all to commonly are failing to self witness their driving behavior, and this is a reason for the continued problem. These people insist on daydreaming, acting with their emotions to make decisions. The three fold self will allow them to evaluate their emotions and driving behavior.
c. I chose this topic because many of the men in my family are professional drivers. I even fear that I have been influenced negatively by being around their negative affective model. I do however feel lucky to have learned about such things as life long driver education and how to be a better driver. At least there is hope for me yet.

This website is revolutionary and takes on the stereotype of the woman driver. It thought this website was great and also a great tool.

This website was also dealing with the issue of gender and driving but it was not as good as the one above.

This website looked at the gender differences of driving, and compared to the actual facts of insurance rates. This proves a lot.
