I.                     Three domains of behavior (human activity)

II.                   Idea of men and women –special and unique relationship

a.      formed in marriage

III.                  Levels of Unity ( sensorimotor consociation)

b.      second: cognitive affiliation: extend to which agree in definitions and beliefs

c.      third level: affective conjunction

IV.               Swedenborg Report

a.      Empirical proof of existence of afterlife in spiritual world of heaven and hell

                                                              i.      Unity model based on this

                                                            ii.      You are asked not to believe anything

                                                          iii.      True love strives to be eternal

                                                           iv.      Marriages develop a psychological bond  and they rely on each other for support in many areas of life

b.      Spiritual

                                                              i.      The bond that is formed survives physical separation by death of the human body

                                                            ii.      Natural marriages becomes spiritual marriage when bond changes to “until endless eternity”

                                                          iii.      Partners know and assume that there is an afterlife

c.      His life work

                                                              i.      Lived in this world of spirits constantly for 27 years

V.                 Theistic Science

I choose this website because it relates to what the first section of the unity model is.  The site contains information on how to help ones marriage grow and form an everlasting bond.  It also gives interested people resources and a chat room to discuss their thoughts.

 

Church and Christ

This website is a little different in that the main concepts are more focused on Christ and the Church.  I choose this site because it gives another approach to the meaning of spiritual love.  This was written long ago, and people at this time had different ways of thinking than do people now.
