I.) The Turmoil and the Refuge

A) A man needs to find a tranquil and nurturing home to return to his wife so that she may soothe the turmoilís of his intellect. Her presence is offers peace and tranquility to him and her kindness is agreeable. This sort of refuge is necessary and useful in a Conjugial Marriage.

B) Example: A manís intellect can disturb, distract and trouble his spirit. His wife and her loving wisdom are the balance he needs to find happiness and relief.

C) My Opinion: I agree with this concept. A man is a thinking creature and a woman is an emotional creature. Together they balance one another out between intellect and wisdom. This is a conjunction and balance that God intended for uniting a husband and wife.

II.) Courting is a Manís Responsibility

A) A man is born as a form intellect and a woman is born as a form of love. A man should choose his wife because he can discern through the congruities and incongruities of the opposite sex. Whereas a woman would have difficulty doing so because she could not separate herself from inclinations of love in order to have clear insight into her decision.

B) Example: A man can think about things before her makes decisions, he is usually logical and practical, trusting his thoughts. Women on the other hand base their decisions off of how they feel, and what their intuition tells them is the right choice. This is one the differences between intellect and love.

C) My Opinion: This makes perfect sense to me and is easy to understand. Men and women do differ in these ways in their decisions making processes.

III.) One More Reason

A) Another reason why it is the manís prerogative to make a choice I the courting process is because it is in a manís nature to love the opposite sex in general, therefore leaving him to make a decision more freely. Women, on the other hand, are designed to love just one in the opposite sex.

B) Example: Men prefer the idea of polygamous marriages, whereas women are revolted by this idea and prefer monogamous relationships.

C) My Opinion: I agree with this concept, I have seen this preference in relationship by both men and women. Women just want to love one man while men say that they can love more than one woman at a time.
