Task 3: Exploring the Generational Curriculum
In this task, I was supposed to look at the previous generations reports and web pages. I thought that it was going to be interesting and that I would learn quite a bit from other students.
First I opened up my class web page, and scrolled down to the previous generations index page and decided to look at G17 first.
wow. they did a totally different thing than we're supposed to be doing....what the hell now?
How did they get a file description up? I think that's pretty cool. Most of the web pages are pretty basic and easy to navigate...pretty boring actually
Next G18...they don't even have web pages...neither does G16...great
shutting down internet browser because it's worthless right now.
This does not help me!!! What the hell. How am I supposed to get ideas off of one class?? I guess I'll have to figure this out on my own.
Affective:
This sucks. I am not feeling very confident about this task. The other generations homepage's were of no help at all. They did book reports and stuff, and that has nothing to do with my assignment for my web page. I was supposed to get an idea of how to design me web page, and also look at the work that they had to do. I am even more confused now than I was before I even looked at the web site which sucks. I'm using the word "suck/s" a lot huh? Yeah, because I am feeling helpless and lost. I thought looking at the other generations would help me find some direction for my next assignment and also help me get a feel for the class, but I don't think that was the end result. I have a feeling that in order to gain a better perspective on this, I will need to talk to some of my classmates about how they plan to attack the next task 4, which is to write our report 1 and upload our homepage.
