  Since the Spring......

Well, I AM NOW MARRIED and I have a beautiful wife named Samantha.  she is kicking the soccer ball in the picture above.  We got married on July 5, 1998 at the Honolulu Country Club and we now live near Punahou School on Wilder Avenue.  It has been such a wonderful experience and the marriage is the best part because God's plan can be seen through her.  Those of you wondering about marriage, take this advice...go to this page first, and talk to someone there about counseling.  There is a saying all premarrieds should know:   "More people plan their weddings than they do their marriages."  remember this when you think of getting hitched.

  In the Mission Field......

God has been doing wonderful things through New Hope and the wonderful staff.  I meet with Steve Kenny, the Music Director at New Hope and we have become best friends.  We are too crazy for our wives' sake because Steve introduced me to Mountain Biking and I warn you...It is not for the faint hearted.  I have almost been plastered on the side of a cliff a few times and I know that God has a hand for keeping me and Steve in one piece during our Treks in the wilderness.

I have started singing on the worship team for the Honolulu Midweek at Saint Francis and God has done a wonderful work in that as well.  Steve has brought me out of the worship doldrums and has had a hand in helping me worship with all I have once again.

Sam and I have started the Soccer ministry at New Hope and the people there have helped us visualize the plan for the people in the Church.  We hope to have a few pick-up games in the near future and hopefully with the cooperation of other churches, have inter-church leagues.

  Well, What Now?

I graduate in December and by the time you read this, I well have been gone tto the wild frontier.  Sam and I are not sure what the Lord has in store for us, but I know we will do it TOGETHER.  Please email me and tell me what is going on in your life.  Until then.......
