Swr#5

02/20/00 10:29 PM: As I observe myself, I tend to notice that I engage in the cognitive self-type of actions. I am critical of other drivers and find myself stereotyping based on car type and driver actions. I do also tend to engage in dangerous maneuvers (the aspect of sensorimotor self) by speeding. I do think that a part of defensive driving is having a certain stereotype about the other driver. I also feel that I engage in trying to calm down when someone cuts me off or something...another aspect of the cognitive self.
