Information
Motor Issues
This page is sponsored by the National Motorists Association.  The NMA advocates, represents, and protects motorists in North America.  Here it touches upon different subjects that tend to be of interest with the American people.  It talks about air bags, road obstruction, seat belts and more.  Although it talks about the law and seems to be on their side, it gives helpful hints on how to fight back when the law has wronged you.  The methods used on this page is simply objective.  This page gives us all the statistics we need to better understand the road.  This page is convincing to me.  It has a lot of information and it does not tend to be on anyone's side.  I feel this page is effective and people should visit this sight.

The art of driving
This is an extremely informative sight sponsored by the Reasonable Drivers Unanimous.  Here it informs people how to properly use devices in cars such as seat belts and mirrors.  The special information that catches me is their method on how to avoid tickets.  Instead of the normal watch out for cops bid, this page tells you to drive slower.  It says we should pay attention to ourselves and the way we perceive things.  I agree with this page and feel it is very effective with the self awareness section.  The only hard part about this is to get people to participate.  Of course that's the hard part of everything.

Transportation resources
This page can link you to different subjects with in traffic on the web.  This page is good for collecting information.  It links you to libraries and different types od associations.  This page is sponsored by the Intelligence Transportation System at Princeton University.  I like this report due to its informative setting.  I feel it is good to obtain lots of current information about driving and traffic.

Teenage Programs
Teenvue: A Teenage Driver Safety Program
This sight is sponsored by Teenvue, a program dedicated to teenagers.  Here it speaks out for the safety of teens when driving.  There are bumper stickers that parents can apply to cars to help ensure the safety of their teenagers.  It recognizes that teens can get into a lot of trouble when they begin to drive.  Here it has lots of other sights that you can link to.  I am all for safety especially at that age when people are most impressionable.

P.A.S.T
This is a non profit organization dedicated to the safety of teens.  It started of from the death of two teenagers in a car accident.  This sight is extremely powerful in the fight for driving safety.  It shows the picture of the accident and tells of the story.  I find this page extremely effective and all parents should show their teens this page before they give their teens the keys.

Everything You Wanted to Know About Teenage Driving But Were Afraid To Ask
This section is also informative.  The page is sponsored by the Lions Club.  The most moving part of the page is its statistics section.  It tells of all the accidents and how much involves teenagers.  It tells how much was involved with alcohol and how much was involved with speed.  I feel that teens should also read this section to learn how to appreciate the road.

My Driver Safety Agreement
This page is basically a contract that parents can download and have their teens sign before getting permission to drive.  This page is sponsored by Insurance Online.  I feel this is a good thing. Allot of teens are getting out on to the streets with out being aware of the responsibilities they have.  I feel this is effective and when I become a parent of a teen I will use this method.

Discrimination
The Truck Safety Page
This is an interesting page, sponsored by Technical services, that represents truck drivers as a victim.  Victim not only to others but victims to themselves.  There are a lot of statistics on this page and pictures of actual accidents.  This page gives helpful hints on how to make driving a truck more safe.  I feel this page is helpful because they do not portray truck drivers as the predators on the road.

Truckers Perspective
This page is a simple report on one mans experiences on the road.  He tells of his situations and how he perceives things when they happen.  This sight teaches things to do and things not to do on the road when there is a truck involved.  I personally learned allot from this page and feel that my driving has already improved.  I feel every one can learn from this page and hurry up and visit it so I can be allot more safe on the road.

Drunk Driving

Knowing Your Limit
This sight is sponsored by the Health and Human Development Program.  Here it talks about being aware of yourself.  It does not matter if you drank under the legal limit, if you feel drunk you probably are.  This is good to know due to culture and personal differences.  I feel this page is a good source for the fight against drunk driving.  Everyone is trying to get around the law one way or another.  Lowering the amount of drunk driving can make the roads allot more safe.

MADD
This is a well known project all around the world.  This page is sponsored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.  It shows the meaning of the group and why they are what they are.  I totally believe in MADD.  They have been a great help in educating teenagers and adults.  This page helped me learn allot more than i expected and my beliefs are allot stronger since my visit to this page.

Safety
VETA
This is a page that is sponsored by it self. This page expresses the notion of knowledge rather than blame.  They feel that the more that people know about the vehicle they drive the more safe they will be on the road.  This, I believe can help people when they drive.  To know what might happen will help to decide what to do at any given time.

Insurance Institute for Highway Safety
This is a  page on articles and statistics on safety issues such as drugs and driving, laws and regulations, pedestrians, speed limits, vehicle safety features, crash reports.  This page is sponsored by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. This is a well informative sight that tells of a lot of issues that most sights do not touch apron.  The information I was well intrigued about was their link to the Vehicle Index Center. I learned allot about the laws I need to be aware of when I drive.

Vehicle Index Center
This is a page sponsored by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.  This page is very interesting and has allot of pictures to look at.  It tells about the famous crash test Domes.  And tells of the process that a car goes through to be safe enough to be a part of the vehicle community.  I found this page informing and safe to read.

NHTSA - National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
This is a page that is sponsored by itself.  It speaks of different safety issues and different tools used for our safety.  It was a good informative page on the subject of safety.  I felt that i could answer some of the questions i have always had.  Drive down this street for more!

Information

National Motorists Association
This page is sponsored by the National Motorists Association.  It talk's about what the program is all about.  It's  biggest issue is about speed limits.  I liked it because of my concern about speed.  I feel this is a good page to get knowledge about the laws and what to expect of them.  Check It Out.
