Why I Chose This Report

When I saw this report I thought to myself that it would be interesting to read about this subject matter.  I do not know much about drinking and driving, and figured this report would have been informative.  I know that drinking and driving is a very hot topic, and there has been numerous studies/reports done on this, so I assumed that Nicole's report would cover concepts relating to, and concerning drinking and driving.  There are so many fatalities that involve a drunk drivers that it makes me wonder why someone would put themselves and other people in that situation to begin with.  Questions like; "Which age group is mostly associated with drinking and driving?", "Why?" and "What steps are being done to solve this problem".  These were just some of the questions I was hoping this report could answer.

How I Found This Report

I found this report by searching through other generations generational curriculum file.  The title for this report really stood out and caught my eye.  I then decided to go to Nicole's report to briefly skim over it, needless to say I was impressed, and is why she has made it to my top four list.

Report Summary

Nicole starts off her report with an introduction, which explains about TSRA (Traffic Safety Research Abstracts/Applications) that is posted by NCAAD (National Commission Against Drunk Driving).  This website has a lot of research that is concerned with, or is related to drunk driving.  After the Introduction she begins her discussion of the six topics TSRA focuses on, which are; youth and adolescents, young adults, chronic drunk drivers, using technology to prevent DWI, treatment of DUI offenders, and legal sanctions.  She briefly describes the six topics and how the information in these topics can be used.
She then informs the reader of various websites that deals with drinking and driving.  Websites of organizations such as ADD (Against Drunk Driving), BADD (Businesses Against Drunk Driving), and other agencies that deals with the problem of driving while intoxicated.

Reaction

I really liked Nicole's report.  It was simple, easy to read and it got to the point, she summarized the information very well, short but yet very informative.  For a topic which I was particularly interested in she had a link to the specific website/report which gave in depth information of that subject matter.  It was interesting to read about the six different categories, how it was defined, and the general population that made up those categories.  This was definitely an article that I was glad to have read.

Comparison

Nicole's report was very pleasing to the eye, she didn't have an outrageous background that would have made it difficult to read, nor did she have any distractions, like blinking icons and borders or animation running around the page, which would have made it distracting to read.  Her report was very informative, but when compared to other reports in her generation on the same topic, they all were pretty similar in format.  But none-the-less it was a fantastic report.
