Dr. Leon James, Instructor

Please visit the following sites:

Class Home page - discusses the expectations of students in Psy. 459 G15, gives instructions as to the requirements of each assignment, and allows you to send e-mail directly to Dr. James the formulator of many of these concepts

General Instructions - gives the instructions for report one and report two outlining the requirements and goals of each, describes in greater detail the concepts discussed in report one and two

Report One - Discusses the concept of the emotional spin cycle, the implications of it, why it is important to learn to control it, and how we can do so.

Book Review - A review of the book The Safety of Elderly Drivers by J. Peter Rothe.  This book helps us to better understand elderly drivers by providing us a not often enough considered perspective on how the elderly themselves consider their driving and the reasons for their accidents.  My commentary on this book shows that like all behaviors the driving behaviors of elderly drivers are intimately connected to their emotional spin cycles.

Report Two - I use myself as a gunny pig in a quasi-baseline experiment in an effort to apply the concepts I preached in Report One.
