Just about anyone is going to find something to spark their interest when they start their journey through this site here. From the sheer site of the site at first glance, you can easily see that there is a LOT of information. But by starting here, people that may have one specific thing they?re looking for can be pointed in a more specific route. Or, if someone ends up here by mistake, or by assignment, they can easily get an insight as to what there is to offer by taking the time to do some exploring.

Aesthetically, this page is straightforward, yet catchy (because the color is a little different). The table at the top is a beautiful table of contents, but for the novice surfer, may give the impression of a link, despite the fact that it is not underlined or different in color. Despite my knowledge of some of Dr. James work, even I was surprised and intrigued by some of the information I found here, like help for husbands looking for a more spiritual marriage.

Several different types of surfers end up at this site, and may want to reach Dr. James in many different ways, and here is all their information, and all in less than two screens. Or for some of us that may want to record the site that they found in non-technologically advanced ways (like paper and pencil) have it right here on their screen, just in case they don?t know that it?s there anyway in the location bar.

An index. Back in the day we knew an index as that thing in the back of a book that would quickly and easily give us the exact location of whatever it is that we?re looking for. Well guess what folks? This is the exact same thing. Only better. No looking up page numbers or struggling with tiny print. The most discomfort you may find is waiting for a long file to download, but what?s a second or two? Anyway, you can probably find something on just about any topic ever thought of, so dig in, and expect the unexpected. But be forewarned, like any other index, this is just bare bones, nothing fancy, just like the good old days.

This is really useful, considering that it would take the average person several hours of several days to go completely through this site (and believe me, I know!).

About fifteen years before I was born (or even thought of for that matter) Dr. James has his first (listed) publication. For an intellectual, publications are very important, like trophies to an athlete. Not that I would call this a brag list, but anyone can see that Dr. James has not only a wide variety of interests, but many, many works that have been deemed good enough to earn a place in print. Very impressive.

The further you go with this list, you come across several titles that are links. This is especially good for those of us that like to do research online. In addition, one has the opportunity to ask the author questions and get prompt answers through the wonders of e-mail. This is good for those of us who really want to understand what we?re reading. This part of this I believe is the best. So many times people ho publish the works that students use are completely unreachable, but Dr. James is nothing of the sort.

Calling all Psychology majors! If you?re into Psychology and the many topics it surrounds, you may enjoy reading up on Swedenborg?s ideas. He holds a lot of very practical theories, from basic cognitive studies to better marriage life. This page has many links and there is a wealth of knowledge here. The best thing about this particular page, was not just the educational value, but also the ability to move outside of the mainstream Psychology and into an equally important, but less well-know one.

This is my favorite page because it leads you into Dr. James different classes and student?s pages. There is more variety, talent, and intelligence here than one could possibly digest in a couple visits. This page is one to keep up with in a sort of generational way. If you have not had the opportunity to explore the idea of ?Road Rage? then this is the place to go. It seems as though Dr. James is one of the leading figures in this new, yet not-so-new idea. Since I am studying about Traffic psychology and Road Rage, this page has a lot of ideas and information that is vital to my class studies. But for the non-student, Road Rage poses a more important factor in our lives. Road Rage is a growing problem threatening our lives and the lives of our passengers each and every time we get behind the wheel. Quite possibly if more people could read and take advantage of the information you can find here, the roads could be a little safer.

The Online Daily Round Archives at the University of Hawaii

As an ongoing project for Dr. James? Psychology 499 students, there has been established the Daily RoundArchives. This is where 499 students transfer reports and other works from prior generations up onto the internet. The first few of the past generations were not abou to use the internet, so students are currently working on it to get everything up and running.

As an extension, per say, of the Students generational reports, this can be another long sire to click through, but worth the time and touble.

I think for most people, this whole idea of the way we drive being related to who we, is sort of bothersome. Driving has come to mean a bad, headache ridden past time that often involves a lot of bad feelings. Not everyone is ready to believe that they may harbor aggressive tendencies that they show only when driving. But, I can say from taking the class, that I really learned a lot about myself, others, and the way I think.

What I found was something much deeper and much more scientific. I will be honest, and say that I have not made it through this whole site as of yet, but it definitely will be on my list of things to do.
Hawaii Online Generational Community Classroom

Calling all teachers! For anyone who wants to know what a generational classroom is or how to start one of your own, this is the place to go. As part of a generation ciriculum, I can say that I have really enjoyed the experience, and would consider trying it one day of my own, had I had the opportunity to do some teaching over a few years of time. Birds in an Aviary

Care for a bird story or two? This is a cute little section of Dr. James? page devoted to stories about birds. Some are very personal and others have a little more scientific quality to them. This is sort of a surprise ending to the page, as it seems a little different than many of the things you?ll find at the Leon James Home Page. Because of this, I would say it is placed is an interesting manner, as right before you dismiss the page for too intellectual, you find a link that seems to be in left field. It really adds a great personality clue to Dr. James making his page seem a little more personal.
