My Personal Account of Driving and Music:
My personal views on driving and music are as follows: I do believe there is some correlation between music and it's affect on driving however, I don't believe it to be universal. I think some people are more prone to negative effects of listening to music while driving while others don't seem to be effected. Personally, the only negative effect I see on my self concerning music are that my eyes are taken off the road when changing a CD or the radio station. This, (knock on wood), has so far not been the cause of any accidents but I see that it could be very possible. Also, I don't believe that when I listen to aggressive type of music am I more prone to aggresive driving any more than I would be listening to easy listening music. Once again, this is me personally, others may react quite differently.
