Music and Driving on the Web

When it comes to finding these two topics on the web it's fairly easy to find a lot of pages concerning one or the other, however when the two are combined the task becomes much more difficult.  Also when you do find a page that addresess the topics together, they are undoubtedly from one of Dr. James former generations doing the same report.  Here are a few of the links I discovered:

www.parentsoup.com/library/imu007.html This is from the ivillage site which is a site geared towards women.  It has a lot of useful driving safety tips and this tip is on music and children.  The author recommends folk music for driving as the adults and young children will both enjoy it.  Well, most adults, sounds like a road trip from hell to me.  4 hours of folk music while driving is not my idea of a good time.

www.jellyroll.com/04/driving.html   This is an online music newsletter with some pretty good music articles.  This article on music and driving came up during my search so I thought I would include it.   Basically it lists some music which the authors feel would make good music to listen to while driving under differing circumstances.

One report that I thought was very well done and thorough was from a classmate in one of my previous classes:

For some reason I could not find anything that directly related to my topic of music affecting driving behavior.  There were a lot of topics on music which I could have listed but I really didn't find them to be relevent to my topic and could not  in good conscience include them here for the sake of making my report look longer.
