Site Information

The first page describes the various areas in the site. These areas are the Traffic Psychology Zone, the Cyberspace Psychology Zone, and the Swedenborg's Spiritual Psychology Zone. The Traffic Psychology Zone gives a listing of the Student Generational Home Pages. These Home Pages include reports at attempts to modify driving style, road stories, and Traffic Psychology Resources. The Cyberspace Psychology Zone includes the Generational Home Pages of the students also. However these Home Pages contain reports to learn the internet, web databases, and Daily Round Archives - made up of student reports. The Swedenborg's Spiritual Psychology Zone gives a listing of his glossary of concepts and a list of Home Pages.

Student Generational Reports

This site displays a representation of all the student reports in Traffic Psychology and CyberPsychology. In the Traffic Psychology Student Reports category, self witnessing reports are included and their use in self modification. It is also possible to connect to each student's home page and view their work. The CyberPsychology Category shows a variety of student projects interlinked. A Daily Round Archives of student reports is also listed which provides a library collection of past reports. There are three articles on the Generational Curriculum: The Introduction to the Community Classroom Generational Curriculum with Dr. Diane Nahl, Creating an Online Learning environment, and Generational community classroom project given to a faculty group.

Road Rage

Road rage includes statistics obtained by Dr. Driving regarding road rage and it's effects on driving. These statistics show the devastation involved. A few examples of this would be that "on average, a pedestrian is killed in a motor vehicle crash every 96 minutes" and "in the U.S. every year there are 40,000 deaths and 5 million car crashes, costing 150 billion dollars in medical expenses and lost productivity". It is amazing to learn that casualties to this extent occur daily and even hourly. This link also allows accessibility to interviews with Dr. Driving and various organizations. A few of these organizations include KITV 4 and Citizens against speeding and aggressive driving (CASAD). Finally, this page connects to Dr. Driving's Random Acts of Kindness on the Road. This describes what road rage is and how to control it.

Traffic Psychology

This page describes the principles of Traffic Psychology and Taxonomy of Driving Behavior: Affective, Cognitive, and Sensorimotor with Self witnessing Methodology for driving Personality Makeovers. It also includes the origin, benefits, and procedures in Traffic Psychology. Dr. Leon James illustrates the Two Stages of a Driving Personal Makeover. The two stages are: Becoming a Reformed driver and Becoming a Facilitative driver. Each of these stages includes the affective level, the cognitive level, and the sensorimotor level. Adjustment of these levels transforms a person into a "Facilitative" driver. The benefits listed are beneficial in that it allows one to see the importance of Traffic Psychology.

CyberPsychology

CyberPsychology describes the principles of creating a virtual presence. It is also possible to connect to the different generations home pages. Other pages are connected to the CyberPsychology page which are: Hyper in Hypertext, Cyberspace and Mind, Virtual Reality, Communal Mind, Forming a Virtual Community, Navigation and Presence, Virtual Book, Spirituality and Cyberspace, and Acquiring Cyberspace Citizenship. Each of these pages give a description in order to understand Cyberspace. They were interesting because they provide insight in concepts previously unknown.

Social Psychological Principles of Home Page Architecture

This page is important to understand the necessary aspects of a home page. Through this page there is a connection to the different areas which describe this concept. A few of the links are the Birth of Cyberspace, the function of the home pages, and the informational content of home pages. The purpose of this home page is to teach the public about Home Page Architecture.

Diane Nahl's Search Index

This index lists the education, employment, speeches, and publications of Diane Nahl. It also gives the syllabus for LIS 601 Spring 1995. A connection is given to the various LIS sites on the internet. This is beneficial for those that are interested in pursuing a career in LIS and would like to gather information.

Dr. Leon James

The page gives the home page address of Dr. Leon James formerly Leon Jakobovits. The purpose is to give people his address in order to write to him. This is geared toward those who perhaps may know him by his previous name and do not know his address.

All of the publications by Dr. James is listed here for easy accessibility. The purpose is to contain all publications for future reference. It is helpful if I wanted more information and didn't know his previous work.

Swedenborg

This page is the home page of Emanuel Swedenborg. It contains his glossary and his picture. It is beneficial that it gives information about Swedenborg and what he believed in. The work of Swedenborg is divided into two subgroups: The Spiritual Marriage and Growth and the Spiritual Psychology and Science. The Spiritual Marriage and Growth includes the concepts of Conjugial love stories from heaven, Doctrine of the wife, Husbands confess here, and Spiritual genes in Marriage. The Spiritual Psychology and Science contains the ideas of Spiritual Psychology and what it is, Biological Theology and Spiritual Geography, and Our Associations with spirits or the vertical community. They represent the importance of Swedenborg's death and his significance.

Tour Guides

This site provides tours of the home page of Dr. Leon James. The first tour is geared toward newcomers guided by Calvin Cheung, G3. He begins with the generational curriculum, through the various generation's home pages and ends in the generation 3A CyberPsychology home page. It is easy to understand and provides insight into Traffic Psychology. The next tour is the Topics in the Daily Round Archives. This tour gives the general concepts of the Archives. The final tour is the Nutrition and exercise papers by Darin Kawamoto, G3. The purpose of these tours are to provide information about the internet.

Spiritual Psychology

Spiritual Psychology is a concept derived from Emanuel Swedenborg. This site contains his glossary, the article titled Human Body as a Micro-Cosmos, and Swedenborg's Empiricism. Swedenborg's Empiricism includes the idea that all natural phenomena are effects, while all causes are spiritual. This site is interesting to learn the basic concepts regarding Swedenborg's theory.

Daily Round Archives

The Daily Round Archives are the generational 499 projects. Before going online, the projects were contained in the Daily Round Archives. The purpose of this site is to describe what it was like before going online and actually being online. It is very interesting to see the difference of the internet.

Articles and Books

This site contains the list of publications by Dr. Leon James. The purpose of the site is to list and describe each article and book. It also gives an overview of CyberPsychology and Traffic Psychology. Seeing the amount of publications regarding Traffic Psychology was astounding. I didn't realize the vast amount of articles on this subject.

University of Hawaii

The home page of the University of Hawaii is located at this site. The purpose of this is to provide an overview of the University of Hawaii system. Also Included is a map showing the location and description of each campus. This is very informative and interesting. Although they are all included in the University of Hawaii system, each campus has a completely different aspect to it.

This site allows the viewer to search the University of Hawaii College of Social Sciences Web Course/Project Website. This search is done through keywords, concepts, or names. It is easy to access information without prior internet knowledge.
