This movie is a comedy and revolves around a chase which starts in California and ends near the mexican borders. I took five minutes from this movie. The two main characters are: Charlie Sheen, who was robbing a small store and took Kristi Swanson as a hostage. They stole Kristi's car and this is when the whole chase begun.
Descriptions of Bad Driving:
Speeding through public areas.
Weaving in and out of cars.
Looking away from the road for more than 2-3 seconds.
Making out and having sex while driving.
Making quick, screeching turns hitting things around them.
Hopping curves to go onto the freeway and running through bushes without slowing down.
Kristi was getting car sick so she leaned half way out of the window and vomitted.
Charlie Sheen almost hits a huge truck, the truck loses control and starts swearving back and forth letting out cadavers from the back.
Other cars including the police were running over them with their cars, like they were speedbumps.
Influence Others?:
This can be very influencing to many people expecially childrn. The characters make driving look so easy, look what they can do without getting hurt: go through bushes, hop curves, weave in and out of traffic, stick your whole body out the window, even make out, and have sex. These are terrible examples that kids can pick up and copy.
Influence Me?:
Driving takes skills and the kind of driving portrayed during this movie takes even more skills, but the editors don't show this. So if I didn't know how to drive and know the skill it takes to drive I would think anyone and everyone could drive this way. But, since I have experienced what I can do with my skills and my car, I know some of these things would be impossible-especially if I didn't want to get hurt. I do believe these scenes put out a bad example because it really makes driving look easy when it's really not!
