Description of Characters:

Dragon is a big lizard, who lives in the human world and is part of the police force. He helps catch the evil mutants, who are trying to rule the world.
His partner is driving and looking for other clues to help catch the evil arachnid (spider who is trying to take over the planet).
This clip lasted for two minutes.

Driscription of Bad Driving

  • Dragon's partner burned out when started to go.
  • She was speeding.
  • While driving she was playing with the computer in her car, trying to find out more information about arachnid's where abouts.
  • She was driving with one hand on the wheel while the other hand was either touching the computer, holding a walkie-talkie, or holding a soda can.
  • She would look away from the road for 1-2 seconds at a time.
  • Whenever she stopped she screeched, instead of slowing down.
  • Influence Others?:

This cartoon clip should not have a major impact over you consciously, as an adult. But I can see how some of these actions may subconsciously have an effect on your driving, such as the speeding and doing other things while driving. I can also understand how this may influence children, they may get the impression that it's OK to drive this way, and if police can do it why can't they? This scene makes driving look easy-why not? Look what you are able to do while your driving-there can't be any skill involved, right?

    Influence Me?:

I must admit as an adult I am not influenced over this scene to want to do the things shown, but I do know I subconscioulsy do drive this way. I do speed and I do hold the wheel with one hand while the other hand is doing something else. I would like to think that this behavior was learned on my own experiences and not from what I see on TV. But who knows, maybe I did pick up these actions from the TV when I was younger and now I'm just duplicating these actions.
