Magnum is a private investigator trying to solve a crime-as usual. This time he is trying to get to a scene where he knows someone will be murdered. This scene lasted for about 30 seconds.
Description of Bad Driving
Magnum is speeding
He makes a sharp, quick left turn without looking, stopping, or even slowing down.
He almost hit another car which had to screech to a stop for him.
He also almost hit a pedestrian walking across the street.
Influence Others?:
This may influence drivers to think that if your in a rush it's OK to speed to your destination and not expect anyone to get hurt. Children might get a bad attitude that vehicles have the right of way over the pedestrians. This is also another police show that may convince children to become police men. This is another good example of what you could imitate unconsciously.
Influence Me?:
I don't think this driving scene has any influence over me to act upon or immitate. I normally have a good attitude about pedestrians, I usually let them walk without rushing them-just because I don't like it when others do it to me. But, the one thing I can relate to rushing to get somewhere, I admit I do it quite often, sometimes subconsciously and sometimes on purpose. Instead of leaving five minutes earlier, I speed to get to places on time. After doing this report and taking this class, I have realized and I am becoming more conscious of my actions. I actually speed less now and I am also more aware of the dangers I have been putting myself and others in.
