B . MICRODESCRIPTIONS OF SENSORY

OBSERVATIONS

( i ) Aches and Pains

"I am getting up out of my bed, in the morning after a short nights sleep, I feel a pain in my neck and my knee. I slowly stretch my neck out and begin to massage my knee. I still can feel the pain: I move my head in round motions to loosen it up. Then I deeply massage my knee as I sit on the edge of the bed. I should of taken it easy at the volleyball game yesterday.

(ii) strechings and exercises

"I am standing with my hands on my hips before our volleyball game. My muscles are tight and the palms of my hands are wet. I see the other team placing the ball to the ground, my hands are getting wetter. We start practicing as a team, I picked the ball up. It's time to start the game. I turn to the other team and fire off the ball. Once I got warmed up I started to calm down and the game went smoothly. "

( iii) blushing

"I see a familiar figure walking in front Of me about 50 feet, I start running to her, wanting to suprise her from behind. Only about 5 feet away I creep up slowly and quietly, instead of just grabbing her I made running noises with my feet right behind her. She turned around, I looked at her, I was shocked and my ears began to get hot. She was a complete stranger. I quickly apologized and ran off, thinking of what I just did. "

(iv) Retinal Sensations and Etc.

"While walking to school in the morning, I see the same old things--cars, people walking to school , trees and the houses on the way along the street, I could feel the old wind blowing across my face. Then as I turned the corner I could see two chicks walking in front of me. My eyes began to open wider, I started staring and my mind started wandering. As I walked into class I didn't realize they were also in my class.

( v ) Appetite and Cooking

"While working at night, I began to feel weak My arms and legs became heavy. I could feel the pain and the growling in my stomach, I wanted to eat something that would satisfy my pain.I looked Around at my working place for something that I could eat. Finally I found some ice cream in the freezer. I started eating it. It tasted so good that l could feel part of my strength coming back to me."

( vi ) Energy Level

"In the morning lying in bed I could see the sun shining through my window. I tried to get up, but my body was so tired, my head was dizzy and I started yawning. I put my head back on the pillow,

closed my eyes and relaced. In about 5 minutes I dozed off."

(vii) Smells and Odors

"As I walked in the flower shop I could see many different colors and many different flowers. I could smell the sweet fragrance of many flowers.
