Want to go to the launching pad?/ "One morning at work, I was walking up the aisle of a DC-10 Air New Zealand jet, when a whole crew of stewardesses and stewards came walking down the aisle toward me. I stepped aside to let them through when one of the stewardesses stopped and said, "Where'd you get that button at?" Replying about my United "You're the Boss" button, "Oh, from our company." Then she asked what she'd have to do to get one, and I answered, "Um, you just gotta be nice." I took off the button and pinned it on her and she hugged me and kissed me a couple of times. The rest of her crew laughed and the rest of my fellow employees whistled and made noises."

(iv) Retinal Sensations and Etc.

"As I was walking to class one day, I saw a girl walking toward me, and it seemed like she was smiling a bit. She was about 35 feet away. She seemed to know me by the way she was looking in my direction. I squinted and as she came closer I realized it was my friend, Vickie. I explained to her that I forgot my glasses in my car and at first I had some trouble making out who she was."

(v) Appetite and Cooking

"As I was walking across Magic Island late one Sunday afternoon, my nose suddenly picked up this great scent. It was bar-b-que. Oh that bar-b-que smelled good over the hibachi. My stomach was beginning to growl; my mouth could taste that juicy bar-b-que.

(vi) Energy Level

"It was Saturday night and Bobbie McGees was crowded. I felt kind of depressed since the guys outnumbered the chicks and it also seemed like the disc jockey was playing pretty tired songs. So I stood back and told myself I'd leave after I finish my drink. Just as I was getting done, five Haole girls walked in. This was during the middle of a slow song. I said to myself, 'Alright.' Then the slow dance got over and the disc jockey put on 'Heaven Must be Missing An Angel' one of my favorite disco songs. I rushed over to the bunch, I asked the girl in the green to dance. She quickly stood up and boy, now I felt ready to boogie!"

(vii) Smells and Odors

"This morning my job assignment was to clean the bluerooms (restroom) on Air New Zealand. As soon as I opened the door of my second blueroom, wow! It was the Big V. Somebody had vomited in the basin of the blueroom. Oh, was I mad!"
