B. MICRODESCRIPTIONS OF SENSORY OBSERVATIONS

(i) Aches and Pains:

"I am getting up in the morning and can feel that my body is sore all over. I can feel it from my feet all the way to my head, where there is a constant throbbing. What did I do to deserve this, I wonder. I can feel the blood pulsating through my head, making me feel terrible. The only thing I can think about is getting a couple of aspirin.

(ii) Stretchings and Exercises:

"As I try to get up in the morning, I wiggle my toes and stretch, trying to keep myself from falling asleep again. I yawn and turn over, still stretching. My right foot is asleep and as I wiggle my toes the blood starts rushing back to it, making the needle-like feeling go away."

(v) Appetite and Cooking

"While sitting at the bus stop at Shari's and waiting for the bus, I can smell the food they are cooking for lunch. It smells so good, even though I don't really like their food. I guess it's because it's near lunch time. My appetite increases the longer I sit here and I can't wait to get to work so I can satisfy my stomach."
