An interdisciplinary resolution of the notion of interaction as seen from the perspectives in psychology, linguistics, anthropology, and education. The systematic specification of context, cultural membership, display repertoire, and personality. The functional analysis of ritual and the objective description of topicalization work in conversational exchanges. The development of pragmatics in transactional engineering. The elaboration of the radicalist register within an ethnomethodological framework. Open to graduate students in psychology, psycholinguistics, anthropology, education, and related fields.
