2-Emacs
:used for editing. See also, Shane Akagi's definition.

3-pico
:also used for editing.

4-toggle
:to press a button on the computer key board. For example, toggle \, means to press the back slash (\) key on the computer key board.See also, Nicole's definition.

5-links
:linking one source of some information to another source of information

6-ftp
:File Transfer Protocol,allows you to transfer a document from one system to another.

7-Generational Curriculum
:an accumalation of ideas and thoughts on a subject which are shared from generation to generation.

8-Social Facilitation
:when a person drives differently because there is someone present in thier car.

9-hypertext
:a lot of information easily and rapidly accessable.(If you know how to access it, that is.) See also, Jae Isa's definition.

10-WWW
:this stands for World Wide Webb.

11-anchor
:used to identify a paragraph and allows other people to link to that paragraph. Note:not used in this class for anchoring a boat.

12-Plug convoy
:when there is a slow moving car in the fast lane which causes everyone to slow down forming a convoy.

13-gopherspace
:a source of information. Note:not the fury little animal who has been shoot into space.

14-Web Crawler
:Used to search for information in the World Wide Web. Note:not a spider. See also, Cynthia Arashiro's definition.

15-Kermit
:Used to transfer word process file from diskette to World Wide Web file. Note:not Jim Hansen's muppet.See also, Kendall's definition.

16-Affective Domain
:pretaining to the area of feelings.

17-Cognitive Domain
:pretains to the area of thinking.

18-Psychomotor Domain
:pretains to the sensory motor area.

19-Mini-Self Modification
:a sample like experiment in driving where one has the before behavior of driving, the intervention and the after behavior of driving.

20-Driver Self-Witnessing
:Drivers who discusses aspects of their driving behavior.

21-Driver's Threefold Self
:Consists of three aspects of the drivers behavior;affective, cognitive, and psychomotor.

22-Driving Personality Make-over
:A process of self-witnessing of your thoughts, feelings and actions while driving. Altering some undesirable thoughts, feelings and/or actions to help you become a better driver.

23-Comatose Drivers
:drivers who don't care about anyone else onthe road and appear to be in their own world or a coma.

24-Bumber Hugger
:someone who is driving to closely to the back of your bumber.

25-Slithering Snake
:when there are two lanes of cars and one lane ahead is closed off causing one lane of cars to merge with the other and they wait for the last minute to "slither" in.

26-Busshock Method
:one angers another individual to evoke aggression.

27-Rambo Behavior
:when a person does not allow another person to change lanes in front of them and often will speed up to prevent them from changing lanes.

28-Sucking Phenomenom
:when driving in traffic (usually during rush hour), you leave 3 to 4 car lentghs between you and the car ahead of you and some how another car is "sucked" into the available space ahead of you. See also, Caroline Balatico's definition.
I like the way she clarifies what kind of sucking we are talking about.

29-Comic Book Driving Persona
:when we make up ideas of driving. An example of this is when driving you run the yellow light turning red to avoid being left behind by the driving pack.

30-Icons
:graphics which can be used on your file pages.

31-Blind-bat
:people who walk and are not looking where they are going but, are very apologitic and polite about it. You can also get a better idea of this by looking at Blind-bat

32-Mr./Mrs. Aloha
:People who stop and talk to everyone and block the sidewalks. More on this can be found under Mr./Mrs. Aloha
in my labreport.

33-Groupies
:Two or more people who walk on the sidewalk completely taking up the whole sidewalk. They do not move over for anyone. More on this found under groupies

34-Inconsiderate Parker
:Person who decides to park at the very first open space on the bottom level at the entrance of the parking complex when there are many more available spaces on the upper levels. This causes an overflow of cars out of the parking structure and onto the street.
