Dr. James had a community classrom for these students. It
seems
that these students had to keep daily rounds or records of their activities
and
thoughts. One of these thoughts were Money Thoughts in which
they had to
log onto their daily round what kind of thoughts they were
having, where
they were, the date, and the time of these thoughts. Another
topic that
they did was intimidation. The students had to write about any
situation
that they felt intimidated and log it into their daily round.
They also
had a "huddle buddy." These were partners that they discussed
their
daily round with. There are also the Daily Feedback Forms or
DFF's in which these students
wrote down their thoughts and opinions of the lecture for that
day. They then turned in these
DFF's for the next day's lecture. More information about this
can be found on Dr. James' homepage or go
directly to Society's
Witnesses. So click on to these pages, enjoy! I have also
scanned some of Dr. James' pages. These are some things
that he has written, so go ahead, take a
look.

Some hints for future 499 students.
For those of you who are wondering what this is, let me tell
you. I am
taking this class, Psy 499, with Dr. James. It is a directed
reading/
research class. What you are about to see are old documents,
from 1980,
from students who were in Dr. James' class. The pages that you are about to see are from the DRA or Daily Round Archives. This was the
generational curriculum before the Internet came about and the use of the curriculum on
computers. Instead of the students doing their work on computers like how we are doing now
they did it on paper. These documents are
kept in
their original form, except for corrections to spelling errors.
The
original paper was scanned in then spell checked and added onto
this
homepage for you to enjoy. Now it can be a part of the generational curriculum on-line.
