Any Beginners Out There???

If you feel like you don't know what the hell you're doing. If you feel like your head is going to explode because you've been online for 10 hours and you still don't know how to e-mail someone. If you are "afraid" to click. If you woke up with one nerve this morning, and your computer's getting on it. Then chances are, you may be very new to this whole internet thing. However, today is your lucky day. Here are some links to some sites that are worth visiting (especially if you're a newbie who can't find these places on your own...) All that's left up to you is to point and click. GOOD LUCK!

Yahoo!

Yahoo! is a search engine. Search engines are very useful for finding links to various types of information. All you have to do is type in a word and press "search", Yahoo! will do the rest. In seconds, it is possible to have over 100 links that you can access to find the information that you're looking for.

Alta Vista

Alta Vista is another search engine similar to Yahoo!. I'm listing another search engine because sometimes one search engine may include links to topics that another search engine may not. It's always good to have a back-up plan...

Web Chat Broadcasting System

Well, you've probably heard a lot about the chat rooms on the internet. Chat rooms are places where you can go to meet all kinds of people from anywhere around the world. Basically, you type messages back and forth to whoever you're talking to. A lot of chat rooms on the internet require some specific kind of chat software, so if you don't have it, you're forced to download it, which takes forever...Web chat is a system that does not require special software, all you have to do is register a handle (i.e. nickname, codename, etc.) and your email address. Then you can chat all you want. A word to the wise: chatting is very ADDICTING...PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION.
