Generational Curriculum Topics

These are a few topics by previous generations of Psychology 409a, 409b, and 459. They include the students' assignments and reports on learning about the internet through this class. Check it out!

Carol Alamares, from generation 1, talks about how she had to do most of her work at home. I am in the same situation, so I could relate to how she must have felt. There is no attendant who knows about computers to help you like at the lab, so I felt really lost and on my own, as I think she did.

I think most students in this class have felt a lot of pessimism and frustration. Grant Harada, also from generation 1, expresses some of these feelings in this report. They are feelings we all experienced as we tried to learn this new language of computers. I enjoyed reading his comments and I think you will, too.

Sometimes, at the lab, the attendant has no clue about what you are trying to do. Or you get so frustrated because you can't figure out how to do something. This is when you have to turn to your friends or classmates to help you out. I've had to rely heavily on friends to help me through this class, and Curtis Nakao, from generation 2, explains how he asked for help from friends.
