Sincs I graduate in May, I thought it would only be fitting to come up with a "Last Will and Testament". And, since I don't have too much friends, I thought I would give some things to the members of this class. After all, we have been through so much, and I just want to let everyone know that I will miss you all. Especially the discussions on the Kuhlthau book. So without further delay, I present the Last Will and Testament of Kyle Riki Fujii.
I, Kyle Riki Fujii, being of humorous mind and small stature, do hereby bequeth the following:
To Linda Wong, the FIRST name on my list, with the hope that FINALLY someone will read your Lab Reports and look at your Home Page;
To Alison Asahina, a cure for her ailments that ravaged her body in the begining of the semester. It put you way behind, but you valiently fought your way back. GOOD JOB !;
To Carol Alamares, a direct connection to UHUNIX. With all the problems you encountered just to log on, I figured you deserve it !;
To Dellia Badua, another Driving Pet Peeve ! Don't you hate it when people cut 2 lanes in one swift motion, man, does that irritate the HECK out of me !;
To Diane Beauchemin, a veggie Taco salad, and a Killians 20 oz. red ginger ale. Hey, I figured if you get through this class, you deserve it !;
To Kevin Bogan, a LIFE ! JUSK KIDDING ! A kind woman whom he can use his "shareware" with (if you know what I mean !) !!;
To Beverly Diaz, NOTHING ! Actually, I have no idea what to give you, which is so amazing, because you talk soooooooooooo much in class !;
To Nicole Gustie, an adequate answer to the good questions you ask in class. Though the professor never gave you a good answer, you still asked questions. By now, you deserve some credit !;
To Grant Harada, the position of PRESIDENT OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE !! Now you can run things they supposed to be run. . . . . the RIGHT way !;
To Ryan Higa, a BIG RED BUTTON THAT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING !! It seems that you really want one for your very own, BTW, would you like a bag of chips with that ?;
To Jill Kaneshiro, a new seat in class, earplugs (I know you desperately want these), and
To Barry Kwock, a ceritificate for PERFECT ATTENDANCE to class. How many classes did you miss ?;
To Joleen Lai, a speaking voice for our discussions in class, and a trip to Jamaica ! I know you are wondering why I am giving you this, but I've always wanted to give somebody something extravagant that they don't need. ;
To Trudy Moore, a COMPUTER LITERACY CERTIFICATE ! I really think you deserve it ! Make sure no one ever tells you that you are computer illiterate. If they do, you will have a certificate to prove them wrong !;
To Rayson Noguchi, a BACK UP for all his homework, and the wise words he gave to me: 1. Don't sweat the small stuff, and 2. It's all small stuff !
To Jason Raad, a BA in PSYCHOLOGY at UH. Anyone crazy enough to fight through some of the things you faced deserves a degree !;
To Cheryl Remata, the dignity of having her name spelled correctly !;
To Rebecca Ross, ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD !! This class WAS really time consuming, and I don't know how you managed to get all the work don;e !
To Lisa Runyan-VanDerRhoer, more time to catch up on the assignments. I think you are doing fine, at least that's what I READ !;
To Tina Smith, a dose of my OPTIMISM ! and my warmest CONGRATULATIONS ! on graduating as well !
May my last words be this: That I worked long and hard these last (do I dare say) 6 years, and I feel that I deserve this diploma. Please remember me for my humor and "nice guy" personality. My biggest fear is that I will be remembered as "the guy that loves librarians", or even worse . . . . . . . . . . . . . . the "hard - headed" guy. Good Luck to you all . . . . . ALOHA !
