big computers which allow access to information by a dumb terminals.
4. dumbterm
Dumb terminal is a term used to refer to a computer that is not using
its own files but accessing other files from another computer.
5. webmaster
King of the spider colonies. Oh-I mean, the person in charge of the
server computer. For the CSS server it is Eric Hagen.
6. infoshock
Information shock is an avalanche of information which can make one feel
overwhelmed,
intimidated, pessimistic, or all of the above. Particularly with respect to
computers and
the internet! Is part of the information literacy

7. links
A connection from one document or place in the document to
another document. Allows one to travel virtual paths back and forth
through many files that are all interconnected.
8. anchor
A word that serves as a stem for a portion of a document. Anchors
placed in paragraphs or sections of a document allows others to create links
that can take one directly to that section or topic.
9. e-mail
Stands for electronic mail. Allows one to send messages from anywhere in
the world via computer.
10. virtual
With respect to the computer using links, these are the paths that
you travel between documents.
