Course Description:
This seminar explores traffic psychology and its application to the Internet -- how to use
it for research and community service. Topics include: psychology of road rage; driving
self-assessment and self-modification; being a leader in a quality driving circle. No
prior Internet knowledge or computer skills are required, only a willingness to face and
overcome your technophobia. You will receive hands-on training in the computer lab. You
will learn to set up your Home Page on the World Wide Web and integrate your work with
that of prior students. There will be no exam, but all reports and assignments are to be
published on your Home Page according to instructions. Classes are in the form of
discussions and oral presentations by students. Attendance is required.
