Psychology of Internet Literacy
Focusing on the component skills of becoming internet literate and their developmental stages, including adaptive techniques that are effective and successful. Students publish their reports on the Web, give oral presentations in class, and participate in online discussions. Uses a cumulative point system instead of a final exam, and opportunities are given for earning extra credit points and correcting ones reports. Includes computer lab where students are given help in Web publishing. No prior computer skills are required. This is a WI course and requires more writing than the average class.
