=====================================================================

Please Note: Since your reports are public and will be indexed by Web search engines, you are allowed to use the same made up name that you are using for the Forum Discussions. (Have you emailed Dr. James what your made up name is in the Forum Discussions?)

4) Type the report in your word processor and save it in HTML format (Web page).  The file name must be report1.html
After saving the report in HTML open it in your Web browser and see what it looks like--it's not the same as in your word processor. Fix things in your word processor, save the file, then view the changes in your Web browser again (be sure to save first). Repeat this process until you're satisfied. In other words, you can view the report on your hard drive in a Web browser without having to upload it (but of course, no one else can see it until you upload it). Once it's uploaded, the whole world can see it. After uploading it, go to the Web to view your report at the address specified in the class FTP folder directory. Does it need further editing? Each time you upload the latest version of your corrected file, it will automatically replace the old version (since it has the same file name). Be sure to test all your links--do they work??

5) At the bottom of your file be sure you have these two links to:

6) This report should have the following sections:

I) Introduction

Briefly describe the overall project (refer to report1 and report2).

Define in your own words each of these terms, giving references to your sources:

II) Annotated Bibliography

You need at least three types of sources:

You need at least 5 references in each type of source

First give an overall summary of the reference source you selected, then give samples of text, tables, graphics, etc. to give a first hand look at the original. Make a link to the original. Be sure it works.
