Course Description:

Rage-Depression Spin Cycle and Aggressive Driving

Focusing on the component skills of driving behavior and their developmental stages, including adaptive techniques that are effective and successful for driver self-improvement. Students publish their reports on the Web, give oral presentations in class, and participate in an online class forum discussion on the daily emotional spin cycle. Uses a cumulative point system instead of a final exam, and opportunities are given for earning extra credit points and correcting oneâs reports. Includes computer lab where students are given help in Web publishing. This is a WI course and requires more writing than the average class. Students will hand in a minimum of three reports and will have to make the requested changes when the instructor reads the drafts. Students also read each other reports and make approppriate suggestions.

Absence Penalty: -3 points/per class absent (also: 3 lates = 1 absence).

Late Work Penalty: -1 point/per day late unless you email Dr. James explaining why and giving the date you will be completing the late work.
