Course Description

Seminar exploring the psychology of cyberspace citizenship. Topics include the nature of virtual online relationships and the dynamics of cyberspace activism. Weekly written assignments are typed and posted on the World Wide Web using campus computers or dial-in modems. Class oral presentations by students and participation in email discussions are also required. Aimed and organized for computer novices since most students are unfamiliar with the Internet and online operations.

Since this is a WI/course, students are expected to write a total of 20 typed pages, or more. About 75% of the course grade will be determined by your written reports. Students will submit at least two drafts before the final version and are expected to take into account the instructor's comments as well as other members of the class.
