First I got into the Net
Search and used Search Engine. I
typed in the topic,
parenting and got a
long list of information about parenting. I looked them
over and picked one particular information. It was about a newest book called
"A
Parenting Manual" by Doc. Lew Childre. The focus of the book was how
effective parenting starts with understanding how your child percieves. It
briefly mentioned about helping parents and children begin to build more
heart-based perceptions and relationships, at the same time, also provides
practical techniques for understanding how children of `90s are percieving
life, how to guide them wisely, and how to bring more heart and hope into the
family experience. The style of the book seemed very informational and
educational. And the content of the book seemed very useful in a sense that
the book provides scientific explanation about how to nurture the connection
between heart feelings and higher perceptual areas of brain which has been the
main resaerch area that Doc.
Lew Childre and his institute of Heartmath's
scientific reasearch team has been working on. The price of book is
$19.95 and
will be published in Sept. of 1995. For more information, click
HERE!!! Parenting resources are one of the focus that I found in the
category of parenting. The title of the
information that I found is "Taking charge of your TV." This is very
useful for parents who want
to teach their children a lesson and to watch TV effectively. The
information that I've got from this
seems to be a guide to critical viewing for parents and children.
The information can be found in
directory under internet search and info search. Then, I type on
parenting that has subcategories of
parenting resources. I think this is also useful to social
psychology because parenting nowadays is
not easy. The information that the parents have might help them
educate their children better as well
as themselves. The style seems to be different because there are so
many links that you can choose
from , and you'll be able to find other information that is related
to the information I chose from.
