After reading team report 4 I knew that I have aquired skills
that was useful to me in future reports. I can also use these skills
to make the apperance of my team reports look better.
In my Lori's team 6 report.
Now I started to read the second half of my team reports. There was a
slight change in the way I wrote out my reports. I noticed that my
reports were written in a rush. I guess this is what happens when I
have too much things to do for my other class. By reading my reports I
can tell when I have a lot to do because my reports seems to be
sloppy.
Although my reports seem to be more sloppy they still included the
requirments for the assignment. For
example, in team eight report
I wrote about how I found the search engine Excite, and what I thought about it,
and how would it be benifficial to society. I was very upset to see that
my paragraphs were very short. I also noticed that I did not go in to
detail about the search that I made.
As I read team reports 9 , 10 and 11
I also see that they were written in the same format but it did not
contain as much detail as I wanted it to be. Why did this happen? Well,
I want to blame my other classes. Nah, I think my reports started to
loose it's content because I did not have the time to work on it.
During the first weeks of school I have devoted most of my time to this
class. Later as time went by I started to have responcibilities for
my other classe which made it impossible for me to write out a good team
report.
I've seen the same things happen to some of my classmates, but there are a few who shows that they have mastered the skills for making a wonderful page. For example my teammate Reaction to Nitsa Mc Carthy's Report
Nitsa Mc Carthy also showed that
she has aquired some skills from her team reports. I enjoyed reading
Nista's reports becuase it was in order. For exmple, in her first
report Nitsa broke up her
reports into sections, sections that we are suppose to cover every time
we write a report. I thought that was a good idea. In Nitsa's
week
nine report it was not as detailed as her other reports. This could be
due to a lot of things. Maybe for the same reason as mines.
Principle of Writing a Team Report
There are two things that I think is important to govern the
structure of a report. They are the self presentation of the report and
is it benificial to
others. The presentation of a report is very important because you are
presenting yourself to a bunch of people. You want to write it in a way
that make people respect you. A report should always be helpful to
someone.
Some people might want to use your information for other reasons.That's
why it is very importatnt that you put up information that is credible.
