Week 1 -- Use Netscape buttons (directory;search;cool stuff;
hot stuff; stop; back).
Week 2 -- Use Netscape features: Add/View/Bookmarks and Go To;
send a
document to yourself by e-mail; try several search engines; view source
files; save an image (.gif file) to a temporary directory on the hard
disk.
Week 4 -- Copy a student file from Generation 1 Psych 409 into your
CSS directory, then log into your UNIX account and ftp over to your CSS
account, copying the file you selected; now download it to your diskette
and midify it as you wish; now upload the file to your UNIX account, then
log into your CSS account and ftp the file over: You should now have two
files, one original from Generation 1 and the other modifiesd by you.
View the files in pico or emacs and in Netscape.
Week 5 -- Select a Home Page you like from a Generation 1 Psy 409
student
and copy it into your CSS directory, then view it in emacs or pico and
modify it to suit our content and style; make links to your weekly
reports (each weekly report is a separate file).
Week 6 -- Catch up with all the tasks left undone; beautify your Home
Page with icons and other methods you can copy from others on the World
Wide Web.
Week 7 -- Browse and read the reports of Generation psy 409 students.
Describe your reactions to both appearance (form, style) and content
(what was said). Make links from your text to each of theirs.
Week 8 -- Same as Report 7 but with a deeper study
and perspective.

Week 12 -- (1) Compare your own team reports from the first
half of the semester with the reports from the second half of the
semester. What skills do you show later that you didn't show earlier?
If there were no new skills exhibited, why not?
(2) Look at your classmate's reports and answer the same questions.
