Foreign Currency Exchange Rates

From Lori Morita's team report week 4, I clicked on the link to the Galaxy search engine. Its Home Page's full name is actually Searching the TradeWave Galaxy. My query for search was Internet news since it is a topic that my team covers. Yet, I was so overwhelmed by the number of links it offered that I decided to change my query to Internet announcement. This time Galaxy's search result offered a more substantial number of links. I chose Investment Sources, a sub categorical link to Business and Commerce, which offered a couple of topics such as Foreign and Foreign Currency Exchange Rates.

I decided to view a document on the Foreign Currency Exchange Rates via U of California-Irvine. The document was actually from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It gives the latest exchange rates for different foreign currency such as the Pound Sterling, French Franc, German Mark, Italian Lira, Japanese Yen, Danish Krone, etc.

The style and tone of the document is designed so that the lay person can read and understand it. It offers valuable information for travelers, traders, investors in foreign currency, and workers in the travel industry. Instead of going to the bank to check the currency rates one can do it just as well from his/her terminal at home or office.
