This week I was looking through Netsearch. Netsearch was easy
to find. As soon as you load into Netscape it will appear as on of
the buttons on the Home Page. Netsearch helps a person who is trying to
find a particular site or document on the in ternet. All you have to do
is use one of the many on-line engines. Some of the engines are the
Lycos Home Page: Hunting WWW Info, InfoSeek
Search, W3 Search Engines, and my favorite Web Crawler Searching.
The Web Crawler Searching engine allows a person to find a subject
by document title and content. I decided to enter the word Maui. Iguess
I was just Curious to see if there was anything about the Island of
Maui. I was amazed there were so many. The subjects were not very
interesting though. It contained a lot of realestate. I continued to
look through the list until I found something interesting.
Finally, I found something that interested me, it was titled Shoppe
Maui. I thought it would be cool to see the different shoppes on the
Island of Maui so I clicked on it. It was not what I expected, instead
there were a lot of tourist stuffs like, Lei Greeting Service, Hawaiian
Dolls, Island Style Hat, and Fresh Island Flowers.
Although, I did not find anything interesting this week I thought
that this information could be interesting to someone else. Using
Netsearch is fun. There are so many things to look at. I am so
impressed to see how much information I can get from the
Internet.
