Doing the Bunny Slope
This photo was taken at the top of the Bunny Slope at the Camelback Ski Resort in Pennsylvania. In the red at the far left is my sister, Gloria. Lila is to the right of her, looking to the side. In the black is Felisa Cassidy, also from Guam. I am in the red and the blue, to the far right.
We were all trying out skiing for the first time--with the exception of Felisa. She had skiied before so she had a little experience to help her out. As for the rest of us, Gloria and Lila caught on pretty fast. I was shocked at how they were able to go down the slope at a pretty high speed and not lose control. I was a different case. I kept falling and only had one perfect ride down the slope. I even fell once when I jumped off the ski lift! Thank God I don't get embarrassed easily.
If you ever get the chance to go skiing, you should do it. It is so much fun! Just don't make a habit of sticking out your thumbs when you fall--you could get very hurt.
