Keep Your Balance!!
Steve Shimizu, snowboarding at the Camelback Ski Resort in Pennsylvania, March of 1996. Actually, this is a pretty good shot of Steve that day. Like many others, Steve assumed that snowboarding would be just like surfing. Well, he soon discovered that it was quite a different ride.Nevertheless, Steve was able to get the hang of it. It took a few falls and they were pretty harsh--considering that this day was the last day of the skiing season and so the snow was basically ice. Still, it was a fun day. The resort was pretty big, with 32 trails of all different levels.
