Steve Shimizu...
out to bring home some
good-sized fish. This
picture was taken at Magundas in Guam. Though not the best of photos, it
illustrates the terrific visibility of Guam's waters and also gives the
spectator a glimpse of my boyfriend in action. Diving in Guam is a lot of
fun. Often we go clam-hunting and "aliling" (top-shell) hunting. We
often are able to bring home a good-sized mesh bag full of clam and/or
aliling. One time I almost drowned because the bag was so heavy and I
couldn't stay afloat while carrying it!
Hopefully I will be able to put up more photos of the live reefs of
Guam and maybe even the waters
of Palau. Steve, Shawn Eustaquio (his cousin), and I just got
certified in November and plan to do major diving and snorkelling in Guam
and Palau.
We also plan to do our dives well-equipped with slings and spear guns.
As for me, I'll be toting my underwater camera that Steve gave me for
my birthday.
