Now I finally know why I couldn't get into the newsgroups, I have to check and make sure that the network is connected to the news.hawaii.edu server first. And I thought that I had just gotten lucky last week. ( Or I had picked the right computer. )

I went into the newsgroups, clicked on the alt. link and chose alt.law enforcement. I didn't find any stories here but I did find a lot of listings for topics like, how to fight a ticket, car theft prevention, car types, car comparisons, and quite a few complaints about the police. There were also a few sub-links in there so I decided to click on the ca.driving link.

This link led me to a guy named Bryan who basically just wanted to know about people who have gone 100 mph. He wanted know where you were at the time, how fast you were actually going, and for how long you were maintaining that speed.
