Last Will and Testament.
I, Curtis Nakao, being of not so sound mind and body, hereby leave to the next generation and all of the generations to follow, these prized possessions:
- The ablility to search and find everything you need, well almost everything, without the trouble of looking for each search engine.
- The ability and knowledge, with a little friendly help, to create, improve, and beautify your Home Pages.
- The ability to locate the newsgroups necessary to all Psy. 459 students and a new and exciting way to view them outside of your Internet browser.
I would also like to offer all those who view this page, for future reference in Psy. 459, a few pieces of advice ...
- Always remeber to take very good notes on all of your computer related assignments and tasks. Where you went, what you found, and how you got there.
- Don't forget the addresses.
- Try not to fall behind on your weekly reports. I did and it was not easy to find many links related to my weekly report topic.
- Update and and improve your topical index weekly. If you wait too long, this process will become long and tedious.
- Get a good computer and a fast modem. If you really want to keep up, this will become a necessity. Besides, the computer will be used for your other classes as well.
- If you already have a computer with a modem, then make sure tht you get your PPP Kit ASAP! You can't connect to the Internet without it.
- Be prepared to stay up late. Sometimes it takes a long time before you are able to connect. After 1:00 am is probably your best chance to get connected.
In closing I would just like to add this little tidbit of information before my passing from this world of Psy. 459.
Be prepared to in a lot of hard work and long hours in this class. If you you have any fears or questions don't be afraid to ask. If Dr. James doesn't have the answer, someone else might have them. And last but not least, don't be intimidated.
Godd bye, good luck, and have a great time.
