Week 11, Oregon's Speeding Violation I searched on Deja News and typed in driving stories. Several entries found through that search and I skim over them, and clicked on speeding ticket. In that entry, it talks about this guy who is visiting at Oregon and he cannot believe that in that state, there is mandatory $500 speeding violation. He was terrified about that because he figured that what if he was running 77 in 65 mph zone and got caught he said he would vomit over the officer shoes. This kind of article sounds silly because the person who said that he would vomit to the officer shoes if he got caught by speeding. It seems that this person is very irresponsible because we should be polite and nice to the officer, and also the officer's job is to monitor our driving and it is our responsible for our actions. At the same time, the officer is not going to stop us, unless we violate any traffic regulations, right? For me, I would say that Oregon should raise the fine more for speeding so that the driver will be more aware and cautious. This information is related to traffic psychology because it talks about the person's feelings toward the speeding ticket.
