ROAD DYNAMICS:
It is true that we are driving in a certain speed based on the different location. For instance, in a residential area, the speed limit is between 15-25 mph, but in highways the speed is 45mph-55 mph. I noticed that driving in the freeway, there's a lot of people speeding especially when there no is no cops around. I admit that I speed sometimes when I am in a rush. It is really strange because, one time when I am driving in the highway running in 70 mph, I saw a cop behind me which is 4 or 5 cars behind, and I suddenly adjust my speed to the imposed sign to prevent of getting a citation ticket. To tell you the truth, not only me adjusted the speed but all the rest of the cars in the road. The change of behavior is really an automatic response knowing that cop's duty is to monitor the driver's actions. It is like the same experience between a king and the servants. In this case, the king is the police officer and the servants are my fellow drivers which is not being faithful to the king and not doing their job when he is not around. In other words, our actions would shift if there are some available punishments.
