WEEK 13: Bummin' About the Traffic by

A simple observation. It doesn't take a genius to see
that the traffic is getting worse in this state. With the amount of people
moving to this beautiful islands, it's only logical that space is going to
decrease. I raise this topic in my weekly report this time around because I
drive through traffic everyday to get my dose of education and my need for
money. In other words, school and work. As I remember from the past, traffic
in the morning started at about 6am and it slowed down at about 8 to 830. As
for the afternoons, the traffic used to start at about 4pm and end at around 6
to 630. Well I hate to break this to the people who are not traveling via H1
now but soon has to, it's getting worse. As mentioned in my previous report, I
have to travel from Kalihi to town at 8am, Tuesdays and Thursdays to get to
school. Once I reach the highway, traffic is very bad. Sometimes I try to
leave half an hour later, same story. On the other days, I leave the house at
1030 to go to school and you guessed it, traffic. Although it's lighter but
I'm comparing it to the days in the past where free driving was from 9am to
3pm. Now it just sucks! Anyway, the days I don't work, I'm hitting the H1
back to Kalihi at about 2pm....TRAFFIC. Where are all these people coming from
and where are they going. I guess that's stupid because I'm doing the same
thing the people on the highways are doing. But how did it get worse? Is
Hawaii that much of a beautiful place where everyone has to move here? I guess
it's fattering for the islands put it's pissing me off. I heard in Oregon that
they encourage visitors but they don't ask you to move there. You can visit
but please don't stay. We should do something like that. Sorry for the
bitching but I'm doing it for a few reasons. I could get the search engines to
work because of the busy lines and I am still bored of the FAQ searches. Thank
God that there's only one more class of this. Sorry, but I'm losing interest
FAST!
