Cynthia Yap's Group Report #12:
Group Report #12:
Here is another entry for the Stupid, Pathetic,
Morons page.
I already reported on this page in weeks #3 and #11.
This time, the offense occurred on November 15, 1995. The offender,
license plate HYC-324. What happened? The author and offender
were approaching an intersection from perpendicular streets. Both
cars wanted to turned left. While the author was waiting for a
clearing to turn, the offender HYC-324 decided to cut the author
off and make his left turn. Then to top it off, when the author
honked at HYC-324, he looked and had the expression like he did
nothing wrong.
I think that this reaction is a common occurrence. I notice the
same reaction all the time. Whenever I honk at someone for doing
something really stupid, they give me that same look, the what
did I do look.
Its significance to traffic psychology? I think this is another
interesting subject of study to traffic psychologists. Do people
always think they're tight when driving even when according to
the law they're wrong? I wonder.
